Passionate Young Girl with Life-threatening Health Issues

Meet Ruba Saeed, a strong person who faced tough health issues but still became successful in digital marketing. Even with a serious health problem, Ruba chose computer science, defying traditional ideas about what women can do. She did well in her studies, got important certifications, and is now a Social Media Manager for a kids’ clothing brand. Her story shows us that we can overcome hard times and follow our dreams. Ruba’s journey is about staying strong, learning always, and succeeding in the digital world.

Hi, Introduce Yourself:

My Self Ruba Saeed. My success story is unique compared to others like I am. My life is not as simple as it appears. I was given a life-threatening diagnosis in my early 20’s.

I have positive antinuclear antibodies and suffer from Sjorens, palindromic rheumatism, and many other health issues. I find it difficult to enjoy life as much as my other fellow friends do. I have trouble falling asleep, I have insomnia, and I need to use sleeping pills for sound sleep.

Antidepressants have been a part of my life for over a year. My body plays a dice game. Getting out of bed every morning is a big effort for me. I never know which area of my body will be impacted today. I sometimes find it difficult to open jars or cans, even the water tap but I am getting by because I don’t want this disease to be overcome.

Everybody must pass away one day. Why don’t we go after our passions and live our lives to the fullest? I was also one of the Pakistani females whose family had some environmental concerns, like others. My mother advised me to select Biology over Computer Science because, in our family, the technical profession is intended more for men than for women. However, I had a keen interest in computer science since I was a young child, so I persisted and went with CS.

I was the only female student among the 20 male students in the class on the first day. Mandy Hale expressed it best: “Some actions must be taken by yourself. Finding out where you need to go and who you need to be is only possible through this process.”

At first, I was a little nervous, but soon other girls began to join me. I started to receive cash awards from the institute for showing exceptional achievement in the field of computer science as a result of my dedication and struggle. I started to put in more effort, enrolled in ICS and proceeded on to complete my B.Sc. in Computer Science at the University of Punjab and my M.CS. degree at the reputable institute UMT Lahore in Pakistan.

I formerly followed tech expert Sir Hisham. I signed up for DigiSkills and completed online certifications in WordPress, freelancing, SEO, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, and virtual assistant. To gain more exposure I took physical classes in Pny training in Lahore and did 6 months of certification in certified digital media marketing (CDMM).

After completing it, I was given a chance to work as a social media manager for a children’s clothing brand where I am currently employed with success. In addition to these, I’m currently working on blogging and my digital agency.

Willing to work harder in the future. Why can’t you do it if I can? Consistently put out the effort and see the results. “Don’t give up on your dreams, or your dreams will give up on you.” -John Wooden
