Alizeh Rangoonwala – My Journey Towards Freelancing Road

Hi, I’m Alizeh Rangoonwala, a Computer Scientist, a blogger, and a writer. An entrepreneur who helps youngsters to live their dream lifestyle. The majority of successful people are the ones that never stop pursuing their dreams. In this world, as we grow and learn things, we always see dreams and do struggle to turn them into reality. Some are successful and some struggle till the end. But my journey towards this freelancing road wasn’t a dream.

We often think, and do various planning, since childhood, I was also doing the same. I wanted to be a Computer Scientist, for which I struggle for almost 16 years and finally achieve a bachelor’s degree. But my fate wasn’t with Computer Science. Therefore, as it is said, that fate creates an opportunity that ends with destiny.

Similarly, after my graduation, I realized that writing was my real passion. Accidently, I discovered how writing can give me money and how I can move forward. In 2017, I started giving my writing services to people to cover my daily expenses. My fate was helping me to discover the path, which I’m now actually following.

How I Came into Freelancing

During my bachelor’s, I found a part-time job in a small company where I worked as a Social Media Specialist. Although, after a few months, I got better opportunities and shifted towards writing. This was the first time I enjoyed my office job. I worked as a writer for 1.5 years, and then I switched my job and started working as a Research Analyst.

I was making more money in my freelancing job. Here, I would like to tell the readers that I worked harder I burnt the candle at both ends. There is no overnight success, but I spent several months building a vigorous online presence. I worked for more than 14 hours a day.

My full-time job was becoming hectic. After realizing that from my part-time freelancing, I’m earning double from my full-time job, I decided to start working as a full-time freelancer. Continuing the previous full-time job I was rarely able to work the way I wanted to, I quit my full-time job and started to work as a full-time freelancer where I can be my own boss where I can at home, with a cup of tea, in front of the laptop. It gives me a beautiful experience. But this was just the starting.

My First Step Towards Freelancing

From creating and building my Fiverr account and the Upwork, I enjoyed the success, which was based on my hard work. Now, I realized how the algorithm works and how one can earn more money by utilizing all the platforms. But this wasn’t the end.

As I started my freelancing career, I started paying concentration towards my do’s and don’ts. I was able to find my strength in technology, health development, business, motivation, online earning niches, and writing different brand stories. But everything takes time. Similarly, I started putting more effort into maximizing my skills. I improved and learned a lot throughout my journey.

With time, I realized the importance of content and its significant impact in the modern era. Therefore, I finally discovered the sale copy that sells. This was the first time; I was feeling proud of myself. Everything fades with time, but your skills remain with you if you innovate according to the changes.

When I worked for my very first client, he gave me a five-star review, and that’s what helped me to get more and more jobs. I usually receive five-star reviews from my other clients too. Here are some of them:

Freelancing is about self-employment and leaving your pleasure behind. It´s a jump into the unsure field. But it’s an exhilarating rollercoaster ride, and you can still have a protective umbrella with you. I have decided not to put all bets on one horse.

Created My Own Digital Presence

Sooner, as I was working with different clients all around the world, I started recognizing the importance of content and blog that drives me to build a more strong digital presence. I started my site as Online Earning For All to guide people on how to make money online.

I Become Motivation for Others

In the period of COVID19, I realized many people are suffering from anxiety and depression. Therefore, I become a motivation for others. I created a Facebook page as Your Peaceful Life By Alizeh to motivate others. I build my voice through my motivational quotes that help thousands of people to overcome their daily anxiety. This part of my life where I earn value, recognition, and love from the people isn’t all because of my skills but due to my helping hand.

A Piece of Advice for Beginners

Maybe you have read a lot of articles and blogs related to freelancing and how it works. But as a freelance writer, what I learned is helping others. Money cannot buy happiness, but helping others can bring both wealth and happiness. I feel glad and blessed to work with top clients that appreciated my work.

To be a writer, it’s all about using your words carefully; they can break or make a deal. You need to be a healer, motivator, and hope for others. You can heal people through your words; this can help you to grow the audience that cares for you.

Blessings,
Alizeh Rangoonwala.
